The interface module is equipped with a PROFINET IO device interface. This means that the B&R system (I/O modules, POWERLINK, etc.) can be integrated into other manufacturers' systems and data can be transferred quickly and easily in both directions.
The interface module can be operated in the X20 central units or in the expandable POWERLINK bus controller X20BC1083.
The interface is designed with 2 RJ45 ports. Both connections go to an integrated switch. This makes daisy chain cabling possible easily.
